You Make My Life Happy

For today's Saturday Card Sketch Challenge with Kimber, she gave us this sketch:

I turned the sketch on it's side (once I realized I cut my first sheet of paper incorrectly!) and came up with this:

I used Webster's Pages Petite Pages Sunday Picnic & Everyday Poetry combo pack for the paper.  I hope, whomever receives this card, smiles when they get it!

Colorful Happy Birthday!

Having fun with my new Webster's Pages paper!  You know what I REALLY love about the paper?  I don't have to hunt and peck for coordinating colors and paper!  I can just turn it over because their papers are two sided and go together!  So perfect for the color-pattered-challenged people like yours truly!

Do you like the orange glitter card stock?  I found it on clearance at Joann's!  We have one of those here.  Unfortunately, it's a teeny tiny little store, and the people who work there are sort of not-so-helpful; however, I can buy paper without help!

So, since I was in that Joann store - I saw some sewing machines.  I've never really been one to pay attention to sewing (other than to drop my stuff off at the tailor).  I saw some card blogs where people were stitching on their cards using a sewing machine.  Is that hard to do?  I might just have to look into this....

Operation Write Home - Sketch Challenge #127

Here is this week's sketch for the OWH challenge:

I bought some really cool stuff last week from Websters Pages and decided to use it for this challenge.  I'm still trying to find my sea legs when it comes to creativity, but at least I got the sketch right this time (well, sort of right)!
